Fern recently got a much-needed break from the shelter and went on a field trip—and she shined like the star she is. She did well in the car, enjoyed exploring the park, and was an absolute sweetheart while picking up a pup cup at Starbucks. Her easygoing nature outside the shelter shows just how ready she is for life as someone’s companion.
She’s a 67-pound German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for fetch. While Fern hasn’t made dog friends at the shelter yet, she might warm up to the right canine sibling with slow, thoughtful introductions.
